Synopsis

Village girl Grace Cooper, marked by a birthmark, is sent to the palace as Emperor Samuel Ellsworth's destined empress, chosen through a beautiful portrait. Their first meeting sparks accusations of deception, yet he forces her into a pretend relationship to ward off an unwanted suitor. From disdain, their act blossoms into real affection. But when Grace protects Samuel and suffers an attack, she develops amnesia, forgetting him every fifteen days. Defying his royal stature, Samuel patiently reacquaints her with their love each time, proving that while memories may fade, love endures.
